What is Pet Passport?
Pet Passport is a planning app that stores vaccination records and health certificates in a private vault, builds an airline-and-country checklist for your route, and can look up nearby vets, pet stores, and parks with Local Pet Concierge.
Does Pet Passport replace my veterinarian or the airline?
No. It is a planning assistant, not a government authority, airline, veterinarian, or customs broker. Always confirm requirements with your veterinarian, airline, and the destination country’s official sources before you fly.
What documents do most international routes require?
Typical items include a current rabies vaccination, a veterinary health certificate timed to the flight, microchip documentation, and sometimes a rabies titer (FAVN) or an import permit. Rules vary by origin, destination, and carrier. Pet Passport turns those sources into a checklist; it does not issue official papers.
What are EU pet passport requirements?
An EU pet passport is issued by a veterinarian in the EU and is not the same as our PDF export. Pets entering from outside the EU often need an official health certificate instead. See our EU destination guide and always confirm with your veterinarian and the destination authority.
What should I know about taking a dog to the UK or pet travel to Japan?
The UK often requires tapeworm treatment for dogs in a defined window. Japan often requires months of advance notice and rabies titers. Use the destination guides and policy checker, then verify official pages before you book.
How do live travel checklists work?
You enter origin, destination, airline, and travel date. We read official airline and government policy pages with AI and return a structured checklist with source links. If a live check is unavailable, we fall back to standard destination rules so you still have a starting list.
What is Local Pet Concierge?
From Home or a trip you can look up nearby veterinary clinics, pet stores, and parks. We send the destination name you chose — not GPS — to Google Places and Gemini. Listings are informational, not bookings or veterinary advice, and hours may be wrong.
Is my pet’s health data secure?
Vault files are stored in private storage with access limited to your account and invited co-pilots. We do not sell personal data. You can delete individual documents or wipe the account in Settings → Delete Account & Data.
How do pricing, subscriptions, and refunds work?
In-app purchases on iOS and Android go through Apple or Google. Indian users can also pay on the website with UPI via Razorpay — use the same email as your app account; the apps do not link to that checkout. Weekly Trip Pass is $6.99 USD (₹450) per week. Monthly Pro is $15.99 USD (₹900) per month. Annual VIP is $119.99 USD (₹9,999) per year. A Single Export is $6.99 USD (₹450) one-time, with 3 pets max. Store subscriptions auto-renew on their weekly, monthly, or annual cycle. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends in App Store or Google Play. Waitlist promo codes are redeemed on the website only. Razorpay website charges are billed in INR.
How do I get started?
Open Pet Passport, create an account, and add your pet. Store vaccination records in the vault, plan a trip for a live checklist, then open Local Pet Concierge when you need nearby vets, stores, or parks.
